My wife wants me to learn to draw tentacles for... Reasons. The overall shape isn't too challenging, but the suckers are driving me mad 😂 It doesn't help that when I actually undertake the intended project, I'll have to do it freehand without guides or tracing, gotta get it right first time. Pressure.

My dining room ceiling that I painted 5 years ago. It took 3 weeks to paint the ceiling and another 3 weeks to transform the rest of the room from blah nicotine stained white to black and metallic gold. The mural is mainly light blue with darker blue shadows, and subtle pink and green highlights. This could be considered a bit of a "sneak peek", but I'd never had Sharilar depicted after her final evolution into a Great Old One before, and felt it was long overdue.

So here we finally see her in her eldritch glory as The Fatebinder, elder goddess of Hope, Fate, and the secrets of the universe. The tentacles are not a part of her, but act as her minions, though she has no power over the seas. Those that know of her theorize that it may be related to the ritual that started her gradual transformation.

While she is no longer mortal, she does remember her mortal life and will sometimes intervene in the affairs of mortals, particularly when other Great Old Ones are involved.

just saw one of the top trends is #AlainDelon. coincidentally yesterday, after watching #Tentacles, thought the good looking guy was a bargain basement Alain Delon.

welp... Delon died yesterday.

so, of course, Variety is doing what USA media does: writing paeans to Nazis.

Alain Delon was, literally, the version of one with his effusive support for Jean Marie LePen and his fascist cult.

meanwhile, Frechstodon is on fire posting all of Delon's ugliness.

this was the kind of bad i needed this week. still thinking about that hipster-sounding opening music. i take it back, it wasn't REM it was BECK i should have said was emoting during the opening credits. like, a BECK with early DAFT PUNK collaboration. and yet the movie sucked. hard. like a giant octopus *snort*
