A #humpback #whale remains #trapped in a #tangle of rope, dragging a #buoy behind it, after urgent rescue efforts failed to set it free when it was first sighted just south of #SydneyHarbour on #Sunday.

Thrasher In A Tangle by Debra Martz

This Long-billed Thrasher seemed to be in a tangle of branches, limbs, and berries! I wondered how on earth it landed among all this. It was happily perched and singing its song of a jumble of tunes.
