My home in the mountains is at high elevation. Until that bubble disappears, I have to convalesce in the Tularosa Basin.</p><p>A day before surgery, my peripheral vision loss was a small black cloud. A day after surgery it was a light gray cloud. This morning, it's hard to notice the vision degradation in that area. I start writing this post 5 days before the scheduled call from the surgeon. I got the puncture done 8 days ago. And the surgeon will call me in 5 days (as I write this). Unfortunately... It's a 15:00 call, so I'll have the whole day to be anxious about it. As I'm already anxious about it now.
