Delphi<p>Being <a href="https://mastodon.scot/tags/controversial" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>controversial</span></a> and <a href="https://mastodon.scot/tags/opinionated" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>opinionated</span></a> here but ...well...here goes:</p><p>Why is it, in the <a href="https://mastodon.scot/tags/workplace" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>workplace</span></a>, that younger people with fewer years <a href="https://mastodon.scot/tags/education" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>education</span></a> and very little experience consider themselves to be more <a href="https://mastodon.scot/tags/competent" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>competent</span></a> than older people with an extensive education and decades of <a href="https://mastodon.scot/tags/experience" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>experience</span></a>?</p><p>In the past (when older people were younger) we respected the <a href="https://mastodon.scot/tags/knowledge" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>knowledge</span></a> of older people &amp; what they could <a href="https://mastodon.scot/tags/teach" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>teach</span></a> us.
