Amsterdam_XXXThe sculpture at Metrostation Weesperplein honors the old “Weesperpoortstation” (1843–1939), the former railway station from which to depart to Utrecht and Arnhem. Carved in sandstone, this artwork was erected in 1941. Created by architect Piet Kramer in the ‘Amsterdamse School’ style, it displays three layered historical locomotives representing the railways’ evolution. 🚂🚃🚄 The first steam train between Amsterdam and Haarlem (sept. 20, 1839) drove at the speed of 30 km/h and was pulled by a locomotive called “De Arend”. In 1908, the country’s first electric train took off between Rotterdam Hofplein and Scheveningen Kurhaus. Trois sont prises à Manchester-Piccadilly et une à Altrincham, une gare mixte train/tramway (Metrolink). Éric🇧🇪🥾🚆🚊🌼🐑🐞📷🇫🇷 Puisque j'étais (en souvenirs) au Danemark et que le mercredi est le jour du <a href="https://gayfr.social/tags/RailwayWednesday" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#RailwayWednesday</a> voici quatre vues des trains locaux qui circulaient au départ d'Hillerød : Les rames IC/2 (dérivées des rames IC/3 des DSB) sur la Frederiksværkbanen et des "Lynette" (Lyn signifie éclair en danois et c'est aussi une catégorie de trains IC rapides (éclairs = Lyntog ou IC Lyn) qui traversent le Danemark. Les "Lynette" ou Y-Tog sont les Schienenbus danois, d'ailleurs construits par Uerdingen pour les DSB et pour les chemins de fer locaux (privés) et étaient utilisés notamment sur la Gribskovbanen reliant Hillerød à Tisvildeleje. The "Lynette" or Y-Tog are the Danish "Schienenbus", built by Uerdingen for the DSB and for the local (private) railways and were used on the Gribskovbanen between Hillerød and Tisvildeleje.
