wolle<p>hi spinning folk, do you have any tips for spinning wool with a very short staple length (like 3cm)? I've inherited a lot of old fibre but my first attempt at spinning a thin high twist yarn with it on my antique double dive wheel wasn't very promising. She promised that it worked &amp; absolutely refused payment. It's been years since I've spun anything. Today I finally put the wheel together. There's potential for a smooth spin. Makes a bit of noise &amp; uptake is too quick for my bumbling hands, even with the brake completely off. I'll keep working with her &amp; see if we can get along.
