The Eurasian Jay (Garrulus glandarius) grows up to 35 cm tall and has a wingspan of up to 58 cm. It is a member of the corvid family and feeds on acorns, caterpillars and seeds. Jays are good vocal mimics and warn forest dwellers of danger.<br>

ℹ️ Der Eichelhäher (Garrulus glandarius) wird bis zu 35 cm groß und bekommt eine Spannweite von bis zu 58 cm. Er gehört zur Familie der Rabenvögel und ernährt sich u.a. von Eicheln, Raupen und Sämereien. Eichhäher sind gute Stimmenimitatoren und warnen die Waldbewohner vor Gefahren. 📝I had seen great egrets before and photographed them 3-4 times. But the photos were just to show that I had seen some.<br>
ℹ️ The Great White Egret (Ardea Alba) grows up to 100 cm tall and has a wingspan of up to 170 cm. It feeds mainly on amphibians, fish and aquatic insects.<br>

🐦 mein erster Silberreiher 🇩🇪<br>
📝Ich hatte schon öfter mal Silberreiher gesehen und auch 3-4 mal fotografiert. Nur waren das eher „Beweißfotos“. Jetzt konnte ich mal einen etwas besser ablichten.<br>
ℹ️ Der Silberreiher (Ardea Alba) wird bis zu 100 cm groß und bekommt eine Spannweite von bis zu 170 cm. Er ernährt sich vor allem von Amphibien, Fischen und Wasserinsekten. Silberreiher sind in Deutschland vor allem Durchzügler, aber es gibt zunehmend Exemplare mit festen Standort.<br>

ℹ️ Die Nilgans (Alopochen aegyptiaca) wird bis zu 73 cm groß und bekommt eine Spannweite von bis zu 135 cm. Sie ernährt sich u.a. von Gräsern, Samen und Blättern. Ursprünglich war die Nilgans in fast ganz Afrika beheimatet, aber durch entflohene Tiere aus Haltungen sind sie auch hier beheimatet.<br>

ℹ️ Der Weißstoch (Ciconia ciconia) wird bis zu 110 cm groß und hat ein Spannweite von bis zu 220 cm. Er ernährt sich u.a. von Insekten, Amphibien und Mäusen. Auch unter den Spitzname Klapperstorch ist der Weißstorch einer der besterforschten Vögel Deutschlands. Nebenbei ziert er das Logo des NABU. 🏆 Es ist Vogel des Jahres 1984 und 1994.<br>

📝 In the meantime, I would say I've evolved and wouldn't post this photo because of the way it looks. But I've always wanted to photograph a moose and the experience outweighs everything else.<br>
ℹ️ The moose (Alces alces) can grow up to 3 meters long and weigh up to 800 kg, making it the largest deer species in the world. It can be found in Asia, Europe and North America. Its diet includes tree shoots and water plants. Moose can also swim (and are sometimes "snacked" by orcas as a result).<br>

📝 Mittlerweile, würde ich behaupten, hab ich mich weiter entwickelt und würde dieses Foto wegen dem Look gar nicht posten. Aber ich wollte schon immer mal einen Elch fotografieren und da überwiegt dann doch das Erlebnis.<br>
ℹ️ Der Elch (Alces alces) wir bis zu 3 Meter lang und bis 800 kg schwer und ist damit die größte Hirschart der Welt. Er kommt in Asien, Europa und Nordamerika vor. Er ernährt sich u.a. von Baumtrieben und Wasserpflanzen. Der Elch kann auch schwimmen (und werden dadurch manchmal von Orkas „gesnackt“)<br>

📝 What luck: there was a falcon's nest behind our vacation house for a few days. Thanks to the camouflage I was able to take some good pictures.<br>
ℹ️ The kestrel (Falco tinnunculus) grows up to 37 cm tall and has a wingspan of up to 80 cm. It feeds mainly on small rodents. Like all falcons, the kestrel does not build its own nest.<br>

📝 Was ein Glück: hinter unserer Ferienhütte war für ein paar Tage ein Falkennest. Dank Tarnkleidung konnte ich ein paar gute Fotos machen<br>

ℹ️ Der Turmfalke (Falco tinnunculus) wird bis zu 37 cm groß und bekommt eine Spannweite von bis zu 80 cm. Er ernährt sich vorallem von kleinen Nagetieren. Wie alle Falken baut der Turmfalke keinen eigenes Nest. 🏆 2007 war der Turmfalke in Deutschland Vogel des Jahres.<br>
