hello, all, I am screaming into the void here:
It’s been a rough few weeks.
*gestures awkwardly* because yeah, not much to say other than, “AHHHHHHHH!!”
Feeling pretty isolated in this world of mine, but on the flip side, I decided to do something funky with my furniture.

Last year was my first time sending out block print valentines to friends and it felt real good. As a beginner at this craft still, it’s a fun way for me to experiment and share my art! Not to mention process my feelings about the depressing state of things— using sharp things to carve pretty designs is very satisfying to my brain and the focus it takes helps me tune out the anxiety from doomscrolling for a bit.
It also helps me feel like I’m putting good into the world instead of just consuming terrible things. If it brightens even one person’s day, it’s worth it!

Feb1: Postcrossing Meet-up in Seattle area for the New Year. Lovely time seeing new and old faces. I enjoyed my time listening and chatting. Overall, I was just happy to see my local Postcrossers again and catch up on their life.

I just learned about #InCoWriMo and I think it’s exactly what I need. I’ve gotten out of the habit of letter writing and would like to make it a regular part of my life again.
