Unfortunately, they got it wrong, again. My letter clearly said I only wanted to dispute part of the charge, but they opened a dispute for the whole charge. Look at the size of the item <a href="https://federate.social/tags/Garmin" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Garmin</a> shippped vs. the size of the box they put it in. There's nothing fragile here; they could have put it in a padded envelope. (bonus cat in the last photo!) The shipping box is 8"x6"x5". The shipped item, 7"x2.5"x1", took up less than 8% of the volume of the shipping box.

His accounts with that password have been broken into many times. I've warned him repeatedly about all this. A while back I changed his email password to something else, gave it to him, and set up his Outlook with the new password so he wouldn't have to remember it. Earlier this week he reset it back to his old password. (Refurbished OK since I use RAID so if a drive fails I can replace it without losing any data.) Each of the drives has a QR code to scan to verify that the drive isn't counterfeit. Seagate has decided that a good security policy is to rate-limit users to one verification every few minutes. [EDIT: Turns out it's a stability issue, not a security issue. Jonathan Kamens 86 47My health insurance company (<a href="https://federate.social/tags/GEHA" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#GEHA</a>) decided late last year to stop processing emails sent to their customer service mailbox (replaced with the "message center" on their new website). So they just started ignoring emails. They didn't notify members to stop using the mailbox, or set up an auto-reply, or turn off the mailbox so messages would bounce. They just stopped handling the messages.
