#ForkedMeadow has about four feet of snow on the ground now and the next storm is coming in on Sunday night with another half foot or more expected.

Currently it's 14f after an overnight low of 12f.

I know it's not Sunday, but there appear to be a need for an extra mid-week #SilentSunday photo. Because.

Gestern auf der #Flusswanderung wieder einmal die Pflanzenbestimmungs-App von @FloraIncognita_DE zu Rate gezogen.

Die Frühlings-Knotenblumen sind mir als Laie umgangssprachlich ja als Märzenbecher am geläufigsten, doch die vielen anderen Bezeichnungen kannte ich eher nicht. Wie nennt ihr sie?

Die kleinen blitzblauen Blumen, gemäss App-Analyse Zweiblättrige Blausterne, waren uns völlig unbekannt.
Und dass sie (wie beim Nachlesen dazu erfahren) der Familie der Spargelgewächse zugehörig sind, war eine sehr verblüffende Information
