I am approaching this argument of journalistic neutrality by straight up just using current real world examples. Shitlibs and their ilk love to retreat to broad strokes because they know that if they look at the specifics, their idea of neutrality falls apart.
There is no need to do an academic treatise. Just point out the contradictions with the world around us, and watch them run away or repeat "all media must be neutral" while the Nazis are murdering people outside. #shitlibs #journalism

Odd isn't it how when I point out the contradictions in the argument "journalistic neutrality is best exemplified by the BBC" with "cool so why don't they report on the visit of a war criminal to the MoD" results in an instant block after not giving me the right to respond, as someone who preaches perfect neutrality, and telling me I should be unsatisfied with the coverage when watching news media.
I guess I made them unsatisfied by just reporting on the facts.
