It probably is for some people.</p><p>I think there's a <a href="https://mastodonapp.uk/tags/myth" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>myth</span></a> - on both sides actually - that there no friction between safety and freedom, but I think there is.</p><p>Very few people really like the <a href="https://mastodonapp.uk/tags/freedom" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>freedom</span></a> of <a href="https://mastodonapp.uk/tags/anarchy" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>anarchy</span></a> and very few people like the safety of a police state.</p><p>But between the two there is quite a continuum with a pretty flat distribution curve.</p><p>Some of those people need the safety of Bluesky and some of them need the raucous agression of telegram groups.</p><p>Maybe we can't all be on the same network.</p><p>I haven't been <a href="https://mastodonapp.uk/tags/semantic" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>semantic</span></a>, but I guess I've been guilty of being philosophical.</p>
