Package Manager for Markdown
I'm working on a project that is intended to encourage folk to make markdown text files which can be bundled together in different bundles of text files using a package manager.
Question for coders; Which package manager would you suggest I use?
Main criterias (in order) are:
1. Easy for someone with basic command line skills to edit the file and update version numbers and add additional packages.
2. All being equal, more commonly and easy to setup is preferred.

This article provides a guide for how to host your own Mastodon server on a VPS.

Hey #ruby #rails #rubyonrails people -- do any of you use (or contribute to) #gemstash to mirror #rubygems and/or host your private gems? The project doesn't have much visibility and I have a couple questions. I was looking for a discord or a forum or email list to ask questions w/o opening a #github issue.
Thanks for any pointers. #programming #webdevelopment
I really wish the Doorkeeper gem was better maintained: https://github.com/doorkeeper-gem/doorkeeper/issues/1721
For a security critical gem, the project's tests should absolutely be able to be run on a fresh clone of the repository's main branch.
Oddly, they seem to all pass on GitHub Actions, and I've no idea why:

So my options on #RubyGems are…
1. keep my email address private and be given a default avaatar (looks cheap and sketch), or
2. expose my email address on my public profile and they'll use an image from Gravatar.
This… wasn't always this way? The verbiage on the website:
> A default avatar is used due to private email settings. To enable a personalized Gravatar, turn on 'Show email in public profile'. Notice this will expose your email to the public.
@collin I had never use Language Server Protocol and I have no need for #LDP at this point.
All this time I've just checked the documentation and that's how I've found errors on both, the documents or the code on #ruby, #rubygems and #RoR. Being that stubborn gave me more insights on how things works and encouraged myself to contribute to more #OSS
I'm not saying is the best thing to do or nor, just how it happen to me.
