Heather EvansToday didn’t quite go as planned. Went to pick up 2 granddaughters & the younger one had gone to stay with her other grandparents, so I only had Miss 12, soon to be Miss 13. While we sat up there near the chalet having our picnic Miss 12 said how much she wanted to climb The Horn again. We’d last done it together back in Jan 2021 along with the oldest granddaughter. I wasn’t sure how I’d go, but I was game to try. It was my goal to get back up there last summer after I’d recovered from my fractured spine, then of course I did the damage to my leg. It’s a 1km steep climb up & I did it 😃. It was hard & I had to take breaks but I got up there & I’m rapt.
