⚛️Revertron<p>Забастовка ума</p><p>«Атлант расправил плечи» — это роман о забастовке. Айн Рэнд намеревается показать судьбу, которая постигнет мир, когда мыслители и творцы бастуют. Автор поднимает интригующий вопрос: что произойдет, если ученые, медицинские исследователи, изобретатели, промышленники, писатели, художники и так далее откажутся от своего разума и своих достижений?</p><p>В этом романе Рэнд утверждает, что весь человеческий прогресс и процветание зависят от рационального мышления. Например, люди вылечили такие заболевания, как малярия, полиомиелит, дизентерия, холера, дифтерия и туберкулез. Человек научился летать, возводить города и небоскребы, выращивать обильные запасы продовольствия и создавать компьютеры. Люди были на Луне и вернулись обратно, изобрели телефон, радио, телевидение и тысячи других технологий, способствующих улучшению жизни. Все эти достижения являются результатом применения человеком рационального ума к практическим вопросам выживания. Если интеллектуалы, ответственные за такие достижения, покинут мир, это приведет к возвращению к примитивным условиям темных веков. Но что побудит интеллектуалов к такому экстремальному действию, как забастовка? Мы привыкли слышать о забастовках, которые протестуют против насильственных или невыносимых условий для рабочих. Мыслители бастуют в «Атлант расправил плечи», протестуя против угнетения их интеллекта и творчества, во имя прав человека и политической свободы. Они наносят удар по навязанному моральному кодексу самопожертвования — кредо, при котором человеческая жизнь должна посвятить себя служению нуждам других. Прежде всего мыслители пытаются доказать, что разум является единственным средством, с помощью которого человек может понять реальность и принять правильные решения; эмоции не должны направлять поведение человека. Одним словом, творческие умы бастуют в поддержку права человека мыслить и жить независимо от эмоций.</p><p>В романе уход великих мыслителей приводит к краху американской экономики и прекращению диктатуры. Забастовка доказывает роль, которую рациональный разум играет в достижении прогресса и процветания. Акцент на разум является отличительной чертой художественной литературы Айн Рэнд.
