I've just been introduced to Forward Shapes, an old school (and all the better for it) Prog/Metal band. In particular, I'm listening to their album "Legacy". It has a great mix of guitar, drums, piano, synth and female vocals.

Judging from their YouTube channel they could do with some love. This is inexplicable as the music is excellent.

You can find the album on Bandcamp. Give it a listen, you won't be disappointed.

I'm still eagerly waiting for another Mandroid Echostar album and desperately hoping that whoever mixed Coral Throne has nothing to do with it. Their independent releases sound so much better. Think Protest The Hero smashed into older Coheed and Cambria and that's Mandroid.
