A question about #Overcast, the app I use for #podcast listening.
When I add episodes to a custom playlist, some of them disappear right after. Say I add 5 episodes (via i —> Add to [list]), then they appear in the list. When I go somewhere else in the app & go back to the list, about 2 out of 5 episodes are just gone!
This happens even when I download them, and regardless of length. (Just now 2x20 minutes vanished.)
Why does that happen? Why do my playlists get shortened? It’s super annoying.
So, American History Hit just downloaded to my #Overcast with the title of "Battle of Iwo Jima" and I - in passing - read it as "Bottle of Two Jima"...
My reaction? "Oh, that's the plural of Jima...Wait! What's a 'Jima'?"
OMG! It took a good minute for my brain to register that was quite wrong.

I'm really happy with this one. That small yellow detail in the corner balancing the dark area around it.

@JeffBishop @joplinapp Please understand this really is meant with good intentions, but this really does happen where apps are accessible for years and years, then an update happens and we lose significant functionality. Recent examples would be #Overcast and #Sonos. So, now, in order to confidently consider something accessible I need to experience it and also make sure there's a public-facing commitment. #accessibility #Joplin
