Hi! I just migrated here from warhammer.social. I had a quick brush with the hobby in the last half of the nineties, when I collected #bloodangels and #orks. I still have those miniatures, and plan to post some pictures of at least some of them. Anyway, following a 25 year hiatus(!), I started collecting #tau a year ago, after introducing my then 10yo to the hobby, as his #ultramarines needed an opponent. #introduction #warhammer40k

When you don't see any hobby updates from me, that means I'm busy and mostly thinking/planning.
Problem with my #Gorkamorka #orks and #trukk is a massive scale difference because fkk gw. Cannot ever fit 6 extra crew in it, so had to go back to the ole drawing board. Researched what are smaller models and hunted them down.
Also created a light vehicle from a stalled project with some sprue.
The "paint" colours are largely done. Now for washes and such, prior to touch-up and sensors.

Finished my Red Gobbo, he's a great little model.
I have also demolished my time record, with Red taking about 5 hours, beating my previous record of over 20.
There are people on here who post videos of battles in the #Ukraine war cheerleading the deaths of #Russian soldiers. Calling them #orks. Celebrating death. It makes me ill, and I wonder how #WesternPropaganda can so totally twist their minds to such evil.
All #WarIsARacket perpetuated by those who stand to gain the most — the #elite. Most soldiers on any side of a war are literally just boys and girls. Too young to fully understand the cause or consequence of the wider conflict. Let me be blunt … the cause is sociopathic billionaires fighting for economic hegemony.
The large majority of soldiers, on both sides of this conflict, are #conscripted. Grease for the different sides’ money machines. They are pawns. And they are largely innocent human beings — your nephew, your child, your grandson.
#Shame on those who celebrate the deaths of those caught up in this conflict. They, are the inhumane #orks. They deserve every ounce shame moral human beings can pour upon their evil heads.
