ℒӱḏɩę :blahaj: 💾<p>There are four solar panels feeding the IT battery system, which has cancelled the entire house load (even the antifa torrent server is running on this!). ℒӱḏɩę :blahaj: 💾<p>Winter is fully here in Maryland. The heat pumps have been running continuously for hours. It's 18f outside, and will get much colder with the vortex. 6-8 inches of snow tomorrow will cover the solar, so we'll be operating off our banked kWh with the utility, of which 4MWh remains. Thankful we have that much since I don't expect the solar to melt off for a week or more. GailWaldby@bsky.social❌👑<p>· Direct the PSC to undertake a "Cost of Service Study" for net metering customers. Rather than a "cost benefit analysis" this study would only let the PSC study the costs associated with net-metering and not allow them to factor in the myriad of benefits that net metering has on the grid and for customers. This cost of service study would then be used to justify rates and fees charged to net metering customers.</p><p><a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/SolarEnergy" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>SolarEnergy</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/SolarPanels" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>SolarPanels</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/NetMetering" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>NetMetering</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/MTLeg" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>MTLeg</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/ClimateCrisis" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>ClimateCrisis</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/ClimateAction" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>ClimateAction</span></a></p>
