Gytis Repečka<p>I hate JavaScript so much <a href="https://bouncinglogo.com/" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">I developed an app</a> with it :blobcatgiggle: :javascript:</p><p>Wrapped it as :androidalt: application to run in a WebView, but <a href="https://app.bouncinglogo.com/" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">it also runs on a normal browser</a> :ablobcatwobpatted:</p><p>Being web application it is <em>visible source</em>, but also published as real <a href="https://source.gyt.is/inretio/bouncing-logo" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">open source</a> :ablobcatbongokeyboard:</p><p>Give it a go - I find those old-school :dvd: screensavers soothing - and let me know your thoughts about it.</p><p><em>Bouncing Logo</em> is pending inclusion into <em>Samsung Galaxy Store</em>, next will be adding it to <span class="h-card"><a href="https://floss.social/@fdroidorg" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@<span>fdroidorg</span></a></span> :blobcatcheer:</p><p>Oh, and it's on self-hosted <span class="h-card"><a href="https://floss.social/@forgejo" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@<span>forgejo</span></a></span> instance :forgejo:</p><p><a href="https://social.gyt.is/tags/opensource" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>opensource</span></a> <a href="https://social.gyt.is/tags/developerlife" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>developerlife</span></a> <a href="https://social.gyt.is/tags/myapp" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>myapp</span></a> <a href="https://social.gyt.is/tags/webapp" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>webapp</span></a> <a href="https://social.gyt.is/tags/android" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>android</span></a> <a href="https://social.gyt.is/tags/dvd" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>dvd</span></a> <a href="https://social.gyt.is/tags/bouncinglogo" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>bouncinglogo</span></a></p>
Third spruce tree on the left<p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://kitsunes.club/@Jessica" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@<span>Jessica</span></a></span> it surprises me that more channel based chat platforms don't use IRC behind the scenes, like each "new" platform or app doesn't just carve off new channel namespaces like `\#\<a href="https://mas.to/tags/myapp" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>myapp</span></a>.chan1`, `\#\<a href="https://mas.to/tags/myapp" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>myapp</span></a>.admin` and so on. I mean it was feature complete (for what it is) 25 yrs ago, the infrastructure is proven and extensible. And then just tack your proprietary extensions onto it like MIME encoding into emails and newsgroups - but still fall back to basic txt protocol in a pinch.</p>
