Will 🏳️🌈
I try to live my life very zen and to always try to offer love, light, and happiness to the world and to people around me.

But it is hard, darn hard, when driving, particularly for me in central and northern Colorado. On nearly every trip, I experience many people who assert what I can only assume they think is their g*d given right to travel & camp in any traffic lane and at the speed *they* think *we* should be accustomed to (usually 5-25 miles per hour under the speed limit). (This is also a nod to the movie First Wives Club). This is despite the posted speed limit, frequent signage along the roads saying for slow drivers to keep right, and a posted state law that you must keep right except to pass.

It's bad enough when it is a private citizen. But it's quite another for commercial drivers including semi trucks. These are professional drivers here!

I get, and celebrate, personal choice. But listen, there is a ripple effect here, and choices like the above can adversely affect road capacity and even invoke road rage for miles or even city-wide!

I'm so glad I won't be driving much longer. Bring on the zen!!! 🎉

PS This just happened repeatedly on today's trip. I coped by scripting this post in my head, refining it as I went until I could get home and share with my dear Fediversians.

Am I a grumpy old man yelling at clouds? 😉

#Musings #BeingZen #PersonalChoice #RoadSpeeds #Colorado #YellingAtClouds
