Amsterdam_XXXArtist Steffen Maas made a mosaic portrait of the legendary Nelson Mandela at the corner of Krugerplein and Pretoriusstraat (also called “De Krugerkop”). 🇿🇦🙌 The mosaic was constructed from hundreds of wooden shields with South African patterns in 2014. It emerged from the collaboration between residents from the Transvaal buurt, among others.
