Since I just moved from @Niklp@fosstodon.org to floss.social I'll quickly #introduce me.
I'm Nik and I usually go with the username "Niklp". I'm the admin of the #Luanti server #Archtec. I'm also involved in #modding for Luanti.
I'm a big enjoyer of #linux and FOSS in general and I strongly believe in the priciples of FOSS.
See you soon :-)
2027 Slate Truck 1st Look: America's New Cheapest Pickup?
The host is 6’10” tall. The truck is still tiny, but for normal size humans it’ll fit you!
Crank windows and no touchscreen—what? This tiny all-electric truck is ultra-inexpensive, but offers huge potential for customization and modification to suit your needs and preferences. You can even turn it into a five-seat SUV.
Security engineer @alexhaydock acquired a Wii at the #EMF2024 Swap Shop. He intended to use it to emulate games, but when he realized that it could be used to host a website, he decided to try that instead. @404mediaco’s Samantha Cole spoke to him about how well it’s working, and what he’s planning to do with it (#EMF2026, here he comes). Check out the second link to find out how our friends at 404 are doing, and what they’re cooking up next.

I don't get why there are so many mods turning Skyrim into dark souls...
That combat style is just not fun imo. Nobody is doing dodge rolls in heavy armour and carrying a sword...
Even without the armour, imagine doing a forward roll onto a boulder
Nah I want realistic combat.
Does anyone know of some mods that might be to my liking?
yay the punching-the-air-to-fly-and-then-unleashing-a-ground-slam weapon in ModOhExtraFun! has gotten some gud improvements :)

Well, it’s not quite a set of screenshots, but for this #ScreenshotSaturday, here are some videos of bosses and mechanics from my #Mario #ROMHack.
A quick late pic of a WIP element from my #Mario #ROMHack for #WIPWednesday I guess.

[P] I feel bad for modders who get their work stolen by someone doing an Updated or Continued version of a mod. 9 times out of ten, the original still works fine, it's juat social engineering to make people think they need the new one. And the new one is some parasite doing "vibe coding" who wanted to steal a popular mod's name. And they'll make the mod worse, adding in loads of bugs and performance issues that were never there. It's often objectively worse.

As a mod creator striving to keep my mods compatible with the latest game updates, I had to disable automatic game updates in the Epic launcher years ago, as I wouldn't want to miss the chance to check my mods against the latest versions.
The new download manager update introducing an update history tab finally solves the problem!
