Scribblemacher<p>Rolled Credits on <a href="https://mstdn.games/tags/MetroidFusion" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>MetroidFusion</span></a> now too. Clear time: 3:33 at 48%. </p><p>This was an interesting juxtaposition for me to Metroid II. Both games are quite linear and do a good job of letting the player feel like they "broke" the game when they find something off that path.</p><p>The first time I played Fusion at release, I didn't like it. I didn't like all the dialogue and I didn't like the game gating my progress. I think now the gating is important. It makes the payoff when those gates start to break much more fun.</p><p>Apparently I'm just going to blast through a bunch of Metroid games now. I'll try the GBA NES Classic version of Metroid next. I still have my NES cart, but I don't have it in my to do that password nonsense now. <a href="https://mstdn.games/tags/VGCMay2025" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>VGCMay2025</span></a></p>
ohanditdidntgo<p>Just hit credits on <a href="https://mstdn.games/tags/MetroidFusion" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>MetroidFusion</span></a> and I absolutely adored my time with it. It gets surprisingly difficult towards the end, but with the ability to save state whenever I want I was able to push through some of the more frustrating moments.</p><p>All in all, I fantastic experience that only makes me more interested in playing more games in the franchise (I'm at two now, this and Prime).</p><p>As for my lil' handheld, wow. I never thought I'd say a GBA game looked amazing, but it did, and it's made me so much more enthusiastic about hitting up that consoles back catalogue. </p><p><a href="https://mstdn.games/tags/Videogames" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Videogames</span></a></p>

ohanditdidntgo<p>Having an absolute blast playing through <a href="https://mstdn.games/tags/MetroidFusion" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>MetroidFusion</span></a> over the last few evenings. </p><p>This is my first real experience with a Metroid game that isn't from the Prime series and I'm absolutely loving it.</p>
