Allyson Shaw<p>Hey, Fediverse- can anyone tell me why when scrolling on my phone I get these random “Load More” gaps in my timeline that, when I click on them, seem to load and then skip over all those posts, taking me to another section in the feed, so I have to scroll backwards? There are two questions I have though.<br>First, is it not possible for people who aren't on Friendica, or even <a href="https://dragonscave.space/tags/Mastodon" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Mastodon</span></a>, to follow a Friendica profile even if they're not on the Fediverse?<br>Second, are there any <a href="https://dragonscave.space/tags/iOS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>iOS</span></a> fedi apps that actually work with Friendica? I tried to set <a href="https://dragonscave.space/tags/Metatext" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Metatext</span></a> up with it, but I keep getting "The operation couldn't be completed." One app speaking both protocols, fetches from both servers, arranges things correctly in my timeline no matter which place they came from, and when I interact with something, it sends the interaction to the right place. Oh, and it should be based on <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/MetaText" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>MetaText</span></a>. And provide winning Powerball numbers… 😉</p>

The user can’t work with this at all…</p>

But here I am on the same iOS version on my iPad and it’s working fine. Same account.</p><p>On my phone I launch the app and get a top and bottom bar, but it’s entirely unresponsive and has no content.</p><p>Anyone have ideas?</p>
