Just a heads up! We're about to see a TON of casting rumors for the new #MCU X-MEN, including a lot of big names being named.

Take everything you see with a grain of salt, unless it's an official announcement or it comes from a respected source (like DEADLINE or Variety).

Randos on REDDIT don't have the inside scoop, so don't fall for it. Expect this all summer long, or until #MarvelStudios puts us out of our misery and makes a huge announcement.

Well, I just watched Thunderbolts. My favourite hero was always Sentry, but he wasn't quite the same in this as in the comics.
However, this Marvel movie was WAY darker than anything I had seen before (I haven't seen many later ones). I liked how they showed some of the characters troubled pasts.
I was hoping to see some Sentry vs Void stuff, or at the very least, more Sentry action. But what can you do?
There was enough humour sprinkled in to remind you it's a Marvel movie, it it did not take away from the darkness. It was pretty good.

Updated my STM32 KiCad Symbol generator! It now generates the modern library format and uses alternate pin functions feature. I decided not to include the "all features listed" strings as I did in the past. (I might add them later as a dedicated alternate function.) This results in more compact symbols. Because it is my personal preference I keep the GPIO pin name in every alt-function. Give it a try, let me know what you think. #kicad #stm32 #opensource #mcu github.com/esden/stm32-kicad-l

Just read an article that complained that 'THUNDERBOLTS*' wasn't more like the movie 'CUBE' and lamented that it should have been a full film of Florence Pugh in an escape room.

This is what passes for journalism nowadays. 🙄

aftermath.site · Thunderbolts* Could Have Been Marvel’s Cube - AftermathI watched Marvel’s Thunderbolts*, and it’s not that bad. I just wish the film had stuck to its escape-room-style opening act.

Can't really call this a surprise, because it makes perfect sense within the plot that Season 1 set up, but happy to get a confirmation because I loved Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones. Was already looking forward to Season 2 of Daredevil: Born Again, but now even more so.

"In its second weekend, Marvel's "Thunderbolts*" continued to perform well at the box office, earning $33.1 million domestically, according to Variety. This represents a 55% drop from its opening weekend, but this is considered a strong hold compared to other recent #MCU titles like "Captain America: Brave New World" which had a 68% drop in its second weekend, according to Variety."

HOLD THE LINE !! 😎

We are in PRE-PRODUCTION of the MCU X-MEN film. This is where the team is being gathered.

We already have a script, penned by Michael Lesslie, which worries me slightly. I never saw the Hunger Games film he wrote (Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes or smn), but I did unfortunately see 'Assassin's Creed.' That one had more problems than the script, though.

Jake Schreier (Thunderbolts*) is in talks to direct, and he could save a mediocre script. 🤔
