Alexander Shendi<p>Another <a href="https://rollenspiel.social/tags/retrocomputing" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>retrocomputing</span></a> question:</p><p>My "new" old iBook G4 has a 120GB hard disk, which is entirely allocated to Mac OS X 10.5 "Leopard". I want to set aside 10 or 20 GB for Mac OS 9.2.2 "Classic". I can boot from CD into Mac OS 9. </p><p>Now I need a tool to resize the partition, preferably without destroying the Mac OS X partition.</p><p>I disabled journaling on the start drive and tried the following:<br>1. resizing with disktool<br>2. resizing with iPartition</p><p>Both don't work.</p><p>(1/2)</p><p><a href="https://rollenspiel.social/tags/MacOS9" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>MacOS9</span></a> <a href="https://rollenspiel.social/tags/MacOSClassic" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>MacOSClassic</span></a></p>

Mario Alberto Guzmán<p>The indeterminate progress bar from Mac OS 9 will always be my favorite… the barber pole style is classic Macintosh but flat designers at Apple killed the style for a more “Android OS” looking one. Lame.</p><p><a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/MacOS9" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>MacOS9</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Platinum" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Platinum</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/UIUX" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>UIUX</span></a></p>
Mario Alberto Guzmán<p>A while back I recreated the Mac OS 9 progress bar with Core Animation (and indeterminate progress bar) but needed something to test them in. Heh… so I made a test bed that looked like the Classic Environment launcher from Mac OS X Tiger. </p><p><a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/MacOS9" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>MacOS9</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Platinum" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Platinum</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/UIUX" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>UIUX</span></a></p>
