Been organizing my #retroGaming collection in #launchbox and despite never playing #basketball games at all, this is the fewest I can manage. Wild cause there weren't really any good ones untill the mid '90s and yet after that there were a dozen every year! I even threw out most of the portable systems!
#LaunchBox lets you give games a 0.5-5.0 star rating and then collects everyone's ratings and averages them out for a "community score".
Sorting ROMs by their score is helpful for finding good games.
It also lets you see how many people have scored a game which is a kind of "popularity" score and useful for sorting too.
Games that aren't well rated are sometimes extra weird, or funky prototypes from japanese services long past.
I have a #miniPC lying around and I decided to install #Linux on it, so I am obligated to tell you about it.
It's an 11th gen quad core #Intel Core #i5 with 16GB of RAM, and an Intel #Iris #GPU, so it should be good enough for most #retrogaming #emulation.
First I put #Batocera on it, but that's a little barebones and I couldn't find the low level settings, so I just installed #Ubuntu and #RetroArch instead. Hopefully I can find a #emulator frontend like #launchbox
