Flipboard<p>Amid constant layoffs and instability, journalists have been unionizing their newsrooms in record numbers. A new study highlights what that looks like for women — and it produced some interesting insights that Nieman Lab has collated: "We get asked a lot in unionization drives, 'What can the union do to protect us, to stop a hedge fund from buying us, to stop the owners from simply deciding to shut down the publication?'
