Brad Romance<p>I’m trying out the new dynamic lock screens in <a href="https://toot.chez.gay/tags/iOS26" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>iOS26</span></a> at the moment, couldn’t be arsed to select some specific photos so I let it use the “featured” ones (photos my phone has decided are good/interesting).</p><p>There’s some misses, but a lot of really nice ones too, photos I haven’t looked at in a long time. The clock font varies depending on the picture it’s overlapping, and stretches to fit different spaces and shrinks as you scroll up through notifications. And it support Spatial Scenes so the images move as you pick your phone up. I like it.</p>

I DESPISE it. I don’t like the home design. I don’t like the app control design. I don’t like the new Carplay design. Overall, it’s an L. Not leaving iOS, but PUH-RAYING that iOS 27 makes some big changes like iOS 8 did for 7.</p>

Wayne Dixon<p>I haven’t commented much on Apple’s switch to Liquid Glass, because it’s a beta. However, in its current state I will be advising people NOT install the public beta. </p><p>If the legibility doesn’t vastly improve, I will be telling people to NOT install it when it is actually released. David Nelson<p>I highly recommend switching the Safari toolbar from Compact back to Bottom or Top. Why? In the compact view your list of tabs is two taps deep: You have to tap the three dots (…) menu then tap on “All Tabs”.
