Russ<p>IN TASMANIA…<br>I'm not on the kunanyi-Mt Wellington summit, but the city council's summitcam is, where this morning at 07.45 it is -1°C at 1271m with a light wind from the NNE at 1kph. A fine and calm morning.</p><p>The rising sun shines off the waters of the Derwent and if you look closely you can see the Tasman Bridge in the glow. A patch of fair weather cumulus drifts lazily past the summit through which you see the Eastern Shore and, to the right of the picture, South Arm peninsula, beyond which lie the waters of Storm Bay. The town of Kingston nestles on the Derwent shore at the right extremity of the frame.</p><p>In the other photo, the warming glow of the rising sun shines on the cold dolerite boulders of the summit. </p><p>There's a little snow about up there this morning. ibk<p>Just saw Josh Cohen perform “Radiohead for Solo Piano” at the Ian Potter Recital Hall, Theatre Royal, Hobart. He’s back in Aus after a few years in Berlin.<br>Five stars, would recommend.
