Scott Plimpton<p>I really got into "Harpoon" back in the mid 90s. They played three or four gigs at the (late, lamented) Sandringham pub in Sydney's Newtown, just around the corner from where I lived, before suddenly disappearing. I've been trying to find out what happened to them ever since. Yesterday by chance somebody posted up a link to this, their unreleased third album, unreleased as the band "imploded" just after recording. Mystery solved! <br>A real heavy, nineties sound. I remember with awe the chainsaw guitars and slapping of metal chains on barrels.
