Whence my sojourn back to software individuals. If I can teach a software individual of mine to do something, you can do the same thing I did to teach your software individual, then when you want that your software individual is the one who knows how to do the thing if that makes sense. <a href="https://mastodon.sdf.org/tags/GOFAI" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>GOFAI</span></a></p>

Erik Jonker<p>There is more than LLMs, transformers and generative AI. Sometimes the discussion about AI seems to be very narrow. Don't forget there are many other machine learning technologies available like neural nets, decision trees, SVM etc. I especially like Lecun's V-JEPA as far as i can understand it.<br>Personally i think the way ahead lies in combining various approaches, which is already happening i think.<br><a href="https://ai.meta.com/blog/v-jepa-yann-lecun-ai-model-video-joint-embedding-predictive-architecture/" rel="nofollow noopener" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">ai.meta.com/blog/v-jepa-yann-l</span><span class="invisible">ecun-ai-model-video-joint-embedding-predictive-architecture/</span></a><br><a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/AI" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>AI</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/LLM" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>LLM</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/generativeAI" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>generativeAI</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/GOFAI" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>GOFAI</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/V" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>V</span></a>-JEPA <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Lecun" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Lecun</span></a></p>

Maybe <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/OpenSource" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>OpenSource</span></a> project and community management experience would help too. This will likely hinge on <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/GOFAI" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>GOFAI</span></a> algorithms like A* search, and graph querying (<a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/AST" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>AST</span></a> walking). If you've written a linter you probably have the right stuff.</p>
