🧿🪬🍄🌈🎮💻🚲🥓🎃💀🏴🛻🇺🇸<p>There are still some kinks left to work out:</p><p><a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Rocknix" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Rocknix</span></a> lets you swap the confirm button from B to A in <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/EmulationStation" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>EmulationStation</span></a>, but it's still that way in <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/YabaSanshiro" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>YabaSanshiro</span></a> and <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/RetroArch" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>RetroArch</span></a>. </p><p>I'd like for it to auto save when I quit a game and start back at that place the next time I play, like in <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/garlicOS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>garlicOS</span></a></p>
🧿🪬🍄🌈🎮💻🚲🥓🎃💀🏴🛻🇺🇸<p>Turns out <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Rocknix" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Rocknix</span></a> needs it's roms in a /roms folder while the stock <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Anbernic" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Anbernic</span></a> keeps it at the root of the ext card. I seem to remember that from when I installed <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/GarlicOS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>GarlicOS</span></a> on my <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/RG35xx" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>RG35xx</span></a>. </p><p>I wish all these <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/opensource" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>opensource</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/emulation" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>emulation</span></a> projects could get together and standardize a few things. Feels like a solvable problem.</p>

I have an <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/RG35XX" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>RG35XX</span></a> with <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/GarlicOS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>GarlicOS</span></a> that works great!</p>
Pete Prodoehl 🍕<p>One of my tweaks for the Anbernic running GarlicOS. Since I am not an old time gamer I don't know what the heck controller goes with what the heck old console system!</p><p>So I added text labels. I didn't really plan it out so it could have been much better, but it works for now.</p><p>It was just a matter of editing the images on the SD card. </p><p><a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/anbernic" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>anbernic</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/garlicOS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>garlicOS</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/rg35xx" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>rg35xx</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/gameDad" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>gameDad</span></a></p>
Pete Prodoehl 🍕<p>I think I’ve got GarlicOS set on the Anbernic RG35XX properly now, including ROM search, which I was missing.</p><p>I still need to do a few things to improve the setup, add a second SD Card, and tweak things here and there, but I’m liking the new setup! </p><p><a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/anbernic" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>anbernic</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/rg35xx" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>rg35xx</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/retroGaming" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>retroGaming</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/handHeld" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>handHeld</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/gaming" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>gaming</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/garlicOS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>garlicOS</span></a></p>
