Kevin Karhan :verified:<p>There's a reason why <a href="https://infosec.space/tags/DigitalBacks" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>DigitalBacks</span></a> are not common for <a href="https://infosec.space/tags/AnalogCameras" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>AnalogCameras</span></a> and why the only ones I've seen for <a href="https://infosec.space/tags/Film" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Film</span></a> are literally <em>entire back sides</em> and not something <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kEjMwuwjzwo" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">shoved to fit <em>inside</em> a 35mm as drop-in</a>...</p><ul><li>Thanks to <span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://bbs.kawa-kun.com/users/lazygamereviews" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">@<span>lazygamereviews</span></a></span> / <a href="https://infosec.space/tags/LGR" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>LGR</span></a> for telling others to avoid paying CHF 500+ for the <a href="https://infosec.space/tags/ImBackFilm" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>ImBackFilm</span></a> with an image quality that is worse than my first Point & Shoot and isn't even a <a href="https://infosec.space/tags/FullFrame" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>FullFrame</span></a> sensor but a <a href="https://infosec.space/tags/Micro43" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Micro43</span></a> / <a href="https://infosec.space/tags/m43" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>m43</span></a> format, thus 2x cropped.</li></ul><p>It's really disappointing cuz at that price I would've expected a real <a href="https://infosec.space/tags/35mm" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>35mm</span></a> frame size and maybe something like custom backs to mount like the original <a href="https://infosec.space/tags/ImBack35" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>ImBack35</span></a> did.</p><ul><li>Cuz I'd love to upgrade my old <a href="https://infosec.space/tags/Dynax7xi" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Dynax7xi</span></a> to use <a href="https://infosec.space/tags/digital" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>digital</span></a> because I have some decent <a href="https://infosec.space/tags/glass" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>glass</span></a>... </li></ul><p>But at that price point and piss-poor quality, <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kEjMwuwjzwo&t=25m13s" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Luke is right:</a> </p><ul><li>Just get an [active] adapter and use <a href="https://infosec.space/tags/vintage" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>vintage</span></a> <a href="https://infosec.space/tags/glass" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>glass</span></a> that way instead...</li></ul>
