Stefan Ihringer<p>Went to the movies today to see <a href="https://mograph.social/tags/PaddingtonInPeru" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>PaddingtonInPeru</span></a>. It felt... a bit slow. I was in a cinema full of young kids and they were laughing once or twice and only in the last part (kids only laugh when somebody gets kicked in the balls, so there was no ball-kicking or other slapstick violence before that).</p><p>The fur rendering (all done by <a href="https://mograph.social/tags/Framestore" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Framestore</span></a>?) is amazing though. Especially in close-ups. With bits of dirt stick in the fur. Incredibly realistic!</p>

Johnson<p>Saw <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/wickedmovie" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>wickedmovie</span></a> at <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/ILM" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ILM</span></a> today at a <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/VES" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>VES</span></a> screening, where several of the ILM leads spoke at the end.</p><p>Great performances, excellent looking and sounding movie, and great VFX work by <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/ILM" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ILM</span></a>, <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/framestore" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>framestore</span></a>, and all the folks that worked on it.</p><p>Super enjoyable.</p>
