Good morning tooters. It’s a beautiful #Monday morning & when I got up was only around 5/6c. Currently it’s 11c & will rise to a very pleasant 24c. It’s hazy, definitely some burning off going on somewhere. I’ve finally started using my winter dressing gown & Ugg slippers regularly, but haven’t needed to get the Oodie out yet. I did have the heater on for an hour yesterday, but haven’t needed it today. Looks to be similar temps all week, no rain forecast though.
After sleeping really well last night I’m going to have another fairly quiet day, just going to my daughters later this morning. This afternoon though I’m going to take the hedge trimmer to my pittosporums by the front porch, they’re getting rather large & bushy. That’s all I’m going to do though. I’ll get back into doing my usual exercise classes tomorrow morning.

Good morning tooting friends. The BOM says it’s 13c & feels like 11c. No, it feels a lot colder due to wind chill. We have had some rain too 😃, not a lot & maybe not much more, but I’ll take it. Heading to a quite nice 20c, but I think with the wind it will feel cooler.
My back is still touchy, but I’m getting around a lot better today which is good. I wanted to go for a walk & I may still, but it will be a little later. I think I should do an other exercise routine to further help my back. Got to get it moving better so it doesn’t stiffen up on me. I also have the old freezer to deal with, a friend has professed interest in it to put in her garage. So it needs a good clean, moved & replaced with the little chest freezer. Luckily both old & new freezers are light.
So that’s today’s plans, not a lot, but enough.

For the last three weeks I've been using my new multigym each day, but 3 days ago I threw my back out and can barely walk, you know what actually did it? Holding the weight plates up at the back of the unit to move the weight riser-pin under 1 more weight plate! Not using the actual machine itself! Geez... 🤦 ☹️

I've just hobbled very slowly down to the shops & back to get more pain killers & some heat patches, laying, back is on fire atm, not looking forward to moving.

Good morning tooters. Another sleep in for me today & while I’m still a little itchy, I slept quite well. The non drowsy Claratyne doesn’t stop me from sleeping, it actually helps as it aids in lessening the itch. I feel pretty well rested & as I have no major morning jobs I think I’ll take myself off for a walk once I’ve finished my brekky of omelette & coffee.
It’s currently 20c & will be reaching 27c today, so still fairly warm for this time of year but very nice. I fed my sourdough starter this morning as well & that means there will be fresh bread on the agenda by tomorrow or maybe the next day - fingers crossed 🤞🏼. I fed my kefir yesterday & that is still not fully awake either & should finish its ferment today.

A while back I switched to unflavored vegan protein powder that I buy in bulk. The place was out so I got some whey, thinking it would be a nice little treat to take a break from the graineyness of the vegan powder. I was wrong. I can barely tolerate the sweetness of the artificial flavoring. I was almost gagging getting it down. I guess I've officially made that switch.

Good morning tooters. Good long sleep of nearly 9hrs last night, although I was up a few times, my fault for drinking nearly all my 4 bottles of water yesterday afternoon & evening 🙃. It’s a beautiful clear sunshiny day outside & is about 15c heading up to 26c.
The Wodonga pool is now closed for the season unfortunately, so most of my exercise will revert to at home exercise classes & walking. I am going to miss all the swimming but do hope to be able to get some days in at the Albury pool before it gets too cool.
Once I’m showered & dressed I’m heading to the chemist to get some of the Soov Bite cream recommended to me yesterday. I’ve become aware of more bites around my neck area & arms. I don’t understand why I wasn’t aware of being bitten, especially so many of them. The Claratyne I took yesterday evening helped somewhat, but I still itch. Just call me dotty or spotty 😄.
Apart from that, the lawns need mowing so that’s a late morning or early afternoon job today.
