@nitpicking @StopForTea @gorskon Since #Science is #EvidenceBased and your handle is 'nitpicking', my first impulse was to not play #WhackAMole semantics. But the concept of #methodolatry is worthy of some discussion.

#MastersOfTheAtomicDomain (chemists) have seen methods come and go over the centuries - even millennia if you start with Democritus.

Chemists who 'idolize' methods that they were trained on, and said new methods "are not sporting", are rightly seen as #dinosaurs.

am elated am not the only one who has thought this.

we need epidemiologists pushing back at the #COVID19isFlu narrative and start demanding evidence of USGOV’s #EvidenceBased decision to minimize the harms of #influenza; especially during the Reagan-Bush years.

somebody needs to FOIA all the fed health agencies records for #flu policies from the last flu pandemic (1972?) to 1992.

The World Health Organization (WHO) has hosted its first summit on traditional medicine, co-hosted by the Indian government. However, some researchers criticize and doubt the evidence and efficacy of some traditional healing systems.
