Ross of Ottawa<p>Swapping out an older 5port DLink <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/EthernetSwitch" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>EthernetSwitch</span></a> for a new 8port TPLink one. Had a suspicion that it wasn't working reliably, so hoping this resolves that.</p><p>Pulling cable around the basement, and re-organizing <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/networking" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>networking</span></a> stuff is a not-unpleasant task for certain kinds of people. </p><p>Would probably feel differently doing it all day, but for an hour here and there, it's a satisfying chore.</p>
