The real cause is betrayal by <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/electedRepresentatives" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>electedRepresentatives</span></a>. </p><p>How can the electorate stay engaged, and for how long, when the elected Senators and Representatives turn their back on the people?</p>
