Open Risk<p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://mastodon.social/@janvlug" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@<span>janvlug</span></a></span> the only public sector entities I have ever seen *not* have the usual links to surveillance capitalism sites are those <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/dataprivacy" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>dataprivacy</span></a> related.</p><p>Lets face it, the public sector in Europe and elsewhere has been complicit in trapping citizens inside these platforms: by providing those sites with legitimacy and free exposure.</p><p>There has been no other private enterprise that has been granted this sort of privilege in such overt manner. A lapse of governance that nobody even dares raise.</p>
