We don't know how much. Was the whole thing seized, or just buildings.</p><p>Baikonur belongs to Kazakhstan. It is leased to <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/russia" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>russia</span></a> who apparently has not been paying their bills. </p><p>This is huge. Baikonur is Russia's only spaceport.
