And we've officially started VODs for 2020! Man it still baffles me how it can both feel like yesterday and at the same time forever ago that we played Monster Hunter World. I remember playing the original on our family PS2 decades ago using PlayStation Online to hunt Lao Shan Lung, to playing MHFU with my brother on our PSPs. The series has come a long way from the days of superman poses and room-based boss fights.

Happy Friday! Today we have the second VOD for our #Kingdom playthroughs. All in all, I prefer Two Crowns, especially after returning to it years later. I wish there was more of an open sandbox version, but I'm assuming you'd just never leave the island, especially once you close the small portals.

Alright, back on track. Apparently those last two were a bit out of order. No matter, we're back in #StardewValley one more time. Sadly there's a chunk of VODs from here until Christmas of 2019 that I seem to be missing, the next one up will be jumping over to a few new games before returning to some cozy #ModdedMinecraft with a familiar face...

Ok, I know we said we'd start on #ImmersiveEngineering last time but then we got a little sidetracked, ok? Some tornadoes came down and tossed some leaves into the ocean, it was a big deal. I wouldn't usually recommend #walmart as I don't agree with how they treat their staff and other shady stuff.

If you need a #tripod for a digital camera or a phone, they have a great one for SIX DOLLARS!

Other large retailers were trying to sell ones for 20+. I am on an extremely short budget until I get my #disability next month (hopefully).

Phone holder detaches. It can then be used for a regular camera. Fully adjustable. Pistol Grip too!

This is it, the final showdown in our #IonFury playthrough. This was a fun romp, it's crazy now to see the explosion of GZDoom games that have come out in recent years, and to know that even the company #3DRealms themselves were able to make something fun and nostalgic as this.

Which reminds me, I really should get around to playing #Selaco, #Hrot, #Dusk, #AmidEvil, #Prodeus, and all the other modern Boomer Shooters...

We're back in the dystopian future of #IonFury for today's VOD, and as frustrating as this game got I still remember it positively. We are, however, approaching the end of this playthrough which means we're also approaching the point where I ran into a bevy of A/V issues during the livestreams. Luckily outside of a few rare occasions this should be one of the last series with such issues, especially given the low bitrate I was locked into before I became affiliated.

Do I know anyone who's ever tried to capture an ARM-based #apple #Mac using a capture card? I am running into the dreaded #HDCP issues that seem to be common with these and google's failing me for a solution.
Does using a #HDMI splitter still work for these cases or is there some kind of fancy tool to just disable HDCP for the duration? I'm not planning on capturing copyrighted material, it's just that this is on by default universally on macs for ... a reason that escapes me but I'm sure is very forward-thinking, magical and revolutionary. #streaming #contentCreation #hacks
