And yes, my dog is a person to me, lol!

VAWeismanJust a reminder that the holidays can be a REALLY hard time. We’re “supposed” to be happy and running into the arms of a functional & whole family unit that accepts us as who we are. Many of us don’t have that. It’s really <a href="https://masto.ai/tags/Depressing" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Depressing</a> because the media & social media bombards us with these fairy tale images. Just know there are millions of us who don’t have that picture perfect life who are hunkering down for a really painful 6 weeks. A parent who denies a child a snack before dinner is still compassionate. Those who won't enable a destructive habit are still compassionate.
