Brian JopekCar of the day: 1973 Pontiac Grand Safari. My folks had a ‘76 Chevy Impala station wagon which was, of course, based on the same platform as all full size GM wagons were; dad wasn’t too fond of the “clamshell” tailgate setup since the gate essentially disappearing took away from his storage space in the car’s well.
