I figured Carney taking Chandra Arya's seat in Nepean would cause a ruckus (and maybe it still will), but when I told my spouse she was ecstatic. Her friends in Nepean *hate* Arya. He has done nothing in his time there: no bills, no town halls, no support from his office. He gets voted in because the conservatives are too close in that riding, otherwise her friends would vote NDP.

I'm catching up on current events, and I recommend this video from Carney's press conference after his meeting with the Premiers. The scope of policy, planning, and detail in the first 15 minutes is impressive, without a single #PeePee like slogan. At the 15:20 mark, he addresses some of Trump's latest remarks and shows his leadership and toughness. Struggled with the French sections, my high school French is 5 decades old.

Huge news this morning. The federal government has announced the final phase of the NDP Canada Dental Care Plan, which my NDP colleagues and I fought so hard for. As of May, the plan will cover ALL Canadians who don’t have insurance and whose household income after taxes is less than $90,000.
