The two terms are often referred to without distinction here though.</p><p>Be aware that Mastodon autocomplete will offer up the first version created for a hashtag. In Mastodon, if you upload a media file and then find the "edit" button, you can add AltText. </p><p>CamelCase: Is a way to make hashtags more readable (for people who rely on screenreaders or simply have trouble decifering long uncommon compound words). Simply write the first letter of each word in capitals.
