OblomovSince everybody was talking about the <a href="https://sociale.network/tags/CoolS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#CoolS</a>, I've decided to play around with the symbol and the more general “simple <a href="https://sociale.network/tags/braid" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#braid</a> pattern” it derives from, mostly to see how easy would be to build them with <a href="https://sociale.network/tags/SVG" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#SVG</a> (answer: pretty easy, and with integer coordinates all round). The intent in the long term is to use such a design for my next refresh of the “share to Fedi” icon, but in the mean time all I got from it was some cool <a href="https://sociale.network/tags/CSS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#CSS</a> borders and <a href="https://sociale.network/tags/HTML" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#HTML</a> horizontal rulers. Doctor M. PopularGaming friends: Braid, Anniversary Edition is out today! This version has fully repainted graphics, new puzzles, and added in-game commentary. When the game was originally released 16 years ago, it was designed for 720p, so I'm excited to see how much better this new version looks. Much like most arcade racers now, you can press a button on the controller to reverse time to just before you died, and try again.The artwork is gorgeous, as is the music. However, I won't be continuing to play.Braid is a game that turns 15 next month, and it's a little bit janky on newer hardware.
