Preferably with cookies or beer or martinis or something.</p><p>Like "knitting circles" or "LAN parties" or tupperware parties ... but for data stuff.</p><p>I have long maintained that Opting Out isnt' a personal journal but one that requires community (I get dinged for this all the time and I have to insist, it is only by joining forces around <a href="https://hachyderm.io/tags/bettertech" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>bettertech</span></a> that we make change possible at all).</p><p>How to get this started? What do your crafting circles/hackathons/WoW raids get going?</p>
