@DWTSquawk7600 Tell her I am fine. I would tell her myself but damn, we cannot get her over here. Tell her this is where all the cool kids hang out.

She's good people. Helped me out big time for years doing #Oshbash. I had the Bacon Jerky shipped to her, she drove it (64 bags a year) to KOSH, and drove me to the store to buy drinks and ice each year. They don't make 'em like her anymore. You can pass that along.

Aviators belong on squawk.mytransponder.com

@SmudgeTheInsultCat HAHAHAHAHA I have a great version of this for those #AvGeeks out there

Sigh in our day we would go to the Kmart in Redwood City, California. After getting our Icee we would spend the next 30 minutes synchronizing the 100's of clock radios they had and set the alarms. Then watch the ensuing chaos are they tried to turn them all off

Also fun to create a stampede of little old ladies using the carts as battering rams by turning on the blue light on the other side fo the store.

I miss Kmart

Dear #AVGeeks : help me figure out why B6 448 diverted to RIC!

LAS-JFK, took a hard right turn around Chicago along with a big ground speed drop at 2049Z. No big police or emergency vehicle presence at RIC, no obvious maintenance either, just fuel. But that's a hell of a diversion for fuel.

Anyone know Chicago's sector map or bored enough to listen to all of them and see what you can find? I would except MY flight is boarding and LiveATC is terrible on mobile...

I talked weapons trafficking, rogue aircrews & the dark world of Outlaws Inc on one of the best #avgeeks podcasts out there, Airchats from Airmacs Aviation. We had a blast - bouncing from how a chance meeting with Pablo Escobar’s biographer changed everything, to the scientific method. Here it is on Spotify. It’s on YouTube too, & wherever you get your podcasts. open.spotify.com/episode/39uVG

I’m planning a January @AirlineReporter post urging holdout #avgeeks to dump corporate SM and join us here on the Fedi. New beginnings, healthy habits, and what not.

Planning to recommend worldkey.io, my.transponder, avgeek.social, Mozilla.social and vmst.io as landing spots. Any other #AvGeek / #Planespotting-friendly instances?

ALSO: What would you say to folks to get them to dump toxic corporate SM?
